Website and browser data

We use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how visitors use the website, measure whether an advertisement leads to a purchase, and improve advertising performance. For visitors in the United States, Google may use first-party cookies and similar identifiers to connect an advertising click with activity and purchases on this website.

This measurement may include pages viewed, website interactions, approximate location, browser and device information, referring or campaign information, advertising click identifiers, product information, and purchase value. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, customer-facing order numbers, sign wording or design content, payment information, or shipping addresses to Google Analytics or Google Ads.

We configure these services for measurement, not personalized advertising. For visitors outside the United States, advertising cookies are disabled and Google receives only limited measurement data.

You can limit or delete cookies through your browser settings or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking measurement does not prevent you from browsing, designing a sign, or placing an order. Learn how Google processes Analytics data.

Your cart is saved in this browser. The website checks current prices and availability before checkout.

Design text stays in your browser until checkout. Anyone with a shared design link can open and change the design, so do not include sensitive wording.

Orders and project inquiries

Stripe collects and processes payment and shipping information on its hosted checkout page. Actually Useful Prints receives and stores the order, contact, and shipping details needed for fulfillment and support, including the approved sign details for a personalized sign, but does not receive or store full card numbers or security codes.

After a paid order is recorded, the confirmation page offers the optional Google Customer Reviews survey. To provide that choice, Google receives the order number, checkout email, delivery country, and estimated delivery date. If you opt in, Google may email the survey after the estimated delivery date. This Customer Reviews information is separate from Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement.

Order-status lookup uses only your order number and checkout email. They are not added to the page URL, analytics, or browser storage, and private order details are not returned.

Project inquiries use the contact, project, and optional file information you provide. Do not submit payment data or other highly sensitive information. Netlify form submissions and uploads are deleted within 30 days. Records needed for an active project or order are retained separately.

Service providers, retention, and questions

We use service providers to host the website, process payments, deliver order messages, ship orders, and measure website use. They receive only the information needed for those services. AUP does not sell personal information.

Order and support records are retained as needed for fulfillment, customer service, accounting, fraud prevention, and legal obligations. Contact support@actuallyusefulprints.com with privacy questions or requests about your information.
